With his experience and working knowledge of various Federal and State outreach resources Mr. Mokrisky provides peer based training and management consulting services to transportation companies in need of operational improvements in the area of compliance, risk-management and driver training.
Using company specific performance based information contained within federal data systems Mr. Mokrisky creates policies and procedures to improve the specific areas and works along side managers and drivers providing guidance to change the culture and eliminate the practices causing deficiencies.
In 2006 Mr. Mokrisky initiated a program to work with Massachusetts insurance carriers that identifies high-risk companies in need of training, management and operational improvements. This program has yielded many positive results for both the insurance carrier and the insured by using data contained in federal databases to pinpoint the areas in need of improvement and implementing tested, proven procedures and training that results in commercial vehicle operators having the ability to control insurance premiums, improve operations and maximize profits.
Mr. Mokrisky has achieved successes working with high profile transportation companies who have incurred financial penalties from enforcement authorities, been identified as “High Risk” by insurance carriers or received increased media coverage following collisions.
Mr. Mokrisky is a member of the National Safety Council and serves as the Secretary of the Transportation Safety Division, Vice Chairman of the Commercial Fleet and Motor Vehicle Section and is a certified Professional Truck Driver Training Instructor for the NSC. In 2010 Mr. Mokrisky was invited to serve with a select group of Transportation Industry leaders responsible for updating the National Safety Council’s Motor Fleet Safety Manual. The nationally recognized Motor Fleet Safety Manual is designed to help fleet safety directors develop, and or revise the safety and health programs in their organizations that will reduce or eliminate preventable collisions. In addition, Mr. Mokrisky has been a speaker at the National Safety Council Congress in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 on issues relating to commercial vehicle operations.
Featured in various local and national media publications Mr. Mokrisky offers reporters and correspondents a view from company owner’s office and the driver’s seat. USA Today, FOX 25 TV Boston, WCVB TV 5 Boston, the Boston Globe newspaper and many local and trade associations have featured Mr. Mokrisky in various reports regarding Commercial Vehicle Safety.
